Summary

 

Oldcastle is undergoing a transformation to standardize its business processes and data, to operating more efficiently and prepare for future growth.  Data from multiple operating companies has been standardized and reconciled using offline tools and must be updated in the company’s ERP systems.  The Master Data Specialist is accountable for updating large volumes of master data, such as customer records, sales order transactions and product data.

 

Essential Duties

 

• Reference Excel data extracts to update Master Data or Transactional Data (adding, correcting, deleting, etc.) in the ERP based on new policy and process.


• Report progress frequently.  Hundreds of data records are expected to be updated each week.


• Escalate technical or system issues or data abnormalities as needed

 

 Requirements 

 

• High School diploma required, some college is a plus


• Very detail oriented, with the capacity to process large volumes of data


• Organized, inquisitive, thorough in approach to data clean-up


• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency


• Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel


• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is a plus


• Data entry and analysis experience is a plus


• Construction Industry knowledge is a plus
