Overview

Ensure that delivery equipment is available on time to meet customer needs and that required SAP data is entered timely and accurately. Process and track sample requests for the plant. Typically works under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Monitor orders for bulk shipments from the plant, coordinate with carriers to arrange equipment for shipment, and develop schedule times with operations to have equipment onsite at appropriate time.

Communicate handling instructions as necessary, request labels and consult with operating units and dispatchers to arrange for truck deliveries between Afton and warehouse, terminal and customers.


Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • BS/BA degree (logistics, accounting/finance, business administration or related field)
  • Inventory and/or transportation experience
  • Some experience using SAP
