Medline Industries, Northfield, IL, seeks a Business Analyst to join the Sales Operation team. This person will be responsible for supporting analytical requests from our Master Data and Pricing systems. This will primarily involve working with T-SQL and running queries providing data to support development team requests
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate exceptional requirement gathering skills, leveraging clear direction from engagement management.
Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
Respond to inquiries for data from end userss
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to effectively communicate with business sponsors, users, business analysts, other programmers, and managers. Must have the ability to document procedures when necessary.
Organize and sequence requirements into a user requirements document
Researching and consulting to improve healthcare data integrity and ensure excellent service delivery.
Contribute to project planning and effort estimation within scope.
Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution
Skills and Experience Required:
US Work Authorization
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst
Minimum of 2 years experience of using SQL experience
Excel in a team environment (Agile)
Critical thinker who can successfully troubleshoot and solve problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working with different departments and as part of a team.
Write well formed, validated requirements and manage changes.
Strong computer skills. Ability to quickly pick up new programs and techniques as technology evolves.
