Responsibilites:

Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes the work of a team to achieve specific goals and to meet specific success criteria within a specified timeframe. Leverages a vast toolkit to manage project delivery with sponsors, stakeholders, teams and individuals who may not be direct reports to ensure the value of the project is achieved. Typically, requires a certification in project management. This family requires employees to have or develop knowledge of the functional business unit to help create solutions through projects and can flex between different types of projects. Work is focused on but not limited to deploying new and/or changes to existing products, processes and systems. Participates and contributes to process improvements and the maturation of the PM practice. (This position may report to IT or to a business area)

Complexity of Assignments:
* Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of experience to serve as expert in own area.
* Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
* Applies functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems and recommend best practices.
* Takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
* Progression to this level is typically restricted based on business requirements.

Judgment & Supervision:
* Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
* Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
* May lead functional teams or projects.

Typical Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience
* 4-year degree or equivalent experience
