Position Overview


Primary Responsibility: Must be able to plan, lead, organize, and control the day to day operations of the warehouse support functions as it has to do with inventory accountability. Regarded as subject matter expert in SAP and WMS functionality, execution, and training. Monitors and assists the distribution centers in the efficient execution of their inventory storage and pick strategies.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Train, coach, and provide recognition to employees to achieve continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

  • Monitors inventory cycle count results to identify poor performance opportunities, perform root cause analysis and initiate countermeasures.

  • Conducts team inventory meetings.

  • Complete daily reports as needed and do so in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

    1. Inventory process definition and audits

    2. Monitor customer shipping error report and reconcile inventory

    3. SAP and WMS super user/trainer

    4. MAD report review

    5. Slotting analyst - all sites

    6. Manage return to stock




Skills and Experience



  • 3-5 years experience in a high volume distribution center is required.

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required, college degree preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SAP is required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization.

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at once.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrate ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands.

  • Strong attention to detail and results oriented.

  • Ability to be a team player, maintain a positive attitude and lead by example.

  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

  • Root cause analysis and countermeasures

Education
