Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst

Job Location: Westminster, Colorado

Job Summary:

For someone who likes a challenge, this position offers the opportunity to leverage their talents in a highly matrixed, fast growing, global company. This position will have a wide variety of responsibilities and will be working with a team that assists the company's numerous divisions with their pay and rewards systems and corporate initiatives, as well as supporting integration efforts of its merger and acquisition activity.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate positions to ensure internal and external pay equity/consistency across all levels of the organization.


  • Determine appropriate levels and placement within salary structures.


  • Provide comprehensive analysis of government regulations and company policies to ensure compliance, including minimum wage, FLSA, and pay equity.


  • Assist with developing communications on a variety of compensation issues, projects or policies.


  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate company compensation policies across all lines of business.


  • Assist with administration of Trimble's annual reward programs, including base pay, bonus, and equity programs.


  • Develop and update salary ranges in multiple countries


  • Provide consultative services to the business People eXperience (Human Resources) partners on compensation issues within Trimble divisions, and assist with compensation integration efforts when the business acquires new companies


  • Provide timely and accurate survey data to global salary surveys to facilitate market analysis.


  • Accurately evaluate salary survey results, and develop recommendations on salary structures to ensure a competitive position in the market


  • Analyze market trends specific to compensation



Skills & Experience Required:


  • 5 years experience in Compensation Administration


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required


  • Knowledge of market pricing, job analysis/evaluation, and compensation planning


  • Excellent MS Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets


  • Must be HRIS system savvy,


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to foster relationships and credibility quickly at all levels


  • Excellent organizational skills


  • Self-motivator with superior attention to detail


  • Ability to manage competing priorities


  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information


  • Results oriented


  • Must be flexible in ever changing work environment


Desirable Skills and Experience:


  • CCP/PHR/SPHR certification a plus


  • Global Compensation exposure/experience


  • Experience with sales compensation, including subscription sales.


  • Workday exposure/experience


  • Google Sheets/Docs/Slides experience


  • Minimum 1 year of experience working specifically with sales incentive/commission
