We are looking for a full-time Windows Systems Administrator 3 for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhancing performance of Garmin’s Windows server computing systems. Other essential functions include:
Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience OR a Master of Science Degree in one of the fields noted above AND a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Other requirements include:
Outstanding academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
Ability to author and implement advanced scripting to automate technical tasks.
Demonstrated ability to implement new technologies effectively
Knowledge of the Windows Server Operating System, and best practices for securing and hardening Windows servers
Ability to manage systems in Azure
Knowledgeable in Identity and Access management products and practices
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Experience in one or more of the below is preferred!
Administrating Citrix 7.15 LTSR or later
Familiar with enterprise password storage/retrieval systems
Administrating SCCM 1909 or later
Administrating Exchange 2016 (On Prem or Online) or later
Administrating SolarWinds or other Enterprise monitoring systems
Administrating Microsoft Teams
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
MCSE
