Content Lead - Information Architect

If you are experienced with planning, creating, delivering, optimizing, and governing digital content, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a talented Content Lead / Information Architect who will be responsible for both the organization of website content and content development. The Content Lead will partner cross-functionally with subject-matter experts and business unit marketers to continuously develop, improve, and govern our online product and technical information. The Content Lead will work closely with Visual Designers to support improvements in search, navigation, organization of technical information, and product selection, ensuring a high-quality user experience for internal and external customers.

About the Job:

• Develop core IA / UI consulting deliverables: sitemaps, navigational flows, taxonomy, digital ecosystem mapping, user flows, functional and content requirements, high-level data models, build specifications for digital projects




• Develop categorization schemes and consistent terminology across the site to help communicate site structure




• Assess existing information architecture and identify areas for improvement, including content inventories and audits




• Establish and lead organization-wide content strategy




• Develop and lead the website content planning process




• Identify user needs and understand how users consume and navigate content




• Develop and manage organization-wide content governance processes with standards and guidelines for different contexts




• Lead or participate in content activities for acquisitions, SEO projects, UX improvements, website enhancements, marketing automation, and internal teams (HR / Legal, Corporate Communications, Finance / IR, IT)




• Social media strategy and content execution




• Brand storytelling

About You:

• 5–7 years of experience, (experience developing content for a technical audience a bonus)




• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to distill information, influence outcomes, gain team member / stakeholder buy-in, and communicate using brief, simple language




• A process-oriented approach to content governance and content creation in phases including goal setting, research, planning, writing, quality assurance, publishing, evaluation, optimization, and lifecycle management




• Strong understanding of UX / UI design for collaboration with design team to achieve excellent presentation standards




• High attention to detail




• Strong project management and team leadership skills




• Solid understanding of digital analytics, with experience generating and interpreting data




• Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business




• Must be a self-starter and excel in multi-tasking within a fast-paced organization




• Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
