Job Description:


The University of Chicago's Department of Pathology is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will contribute to all clinical aspects of the GI Pathology section. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Opportunities for translational research are available. We especially welcome applicants with fellowship training in Gastrointestinal Pathology; additional fellowship training in Cytopathology would be a plus. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) and be board-certified/eligible in AP or AP/CP.
