Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for using data to effectively analyze, forecast, and tell the story of consumer behavior and marketing campaign performance. These efforts include items such as email marketing campaigns, aggregator profitability reviews, organic traffic reporting, online branding efforts, and digital experiences. You will also create and maintain dashboards for campaign optimization, including key performance indicators (KPIs) related to campaign goals and the consumer’s digital journey. Ideal candidates have very strong data analysis/visualization skills, can query data, and they enjoy balancing strategic thinking with detailed, tactical execution. They are strong communicators and can effectively consult with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop recommendations. They think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions and drive actionable recommendations.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting wage is determined based on prior work experiences.

Full-time Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Ability to synthesize data to form a story and align information to contrast or compare to industry perspective and historical business trends.

  • Query data, create data visualizations, & derive insights.

  • Provide digital analysis strategies in support of marketing campaigns, analyze and relay results, successes/failures, and profitability to leadership.

  • Experience analyzing marketing strategies and product metrics and articulating data trends with emphasis on digital marketing analytics, profitability analysis, and forecasting.

  • Ensure analytic assumptions are accurate and based upon sound financial and/or statistical principles.

  • Ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions

  • Consult with business areas to determine/identify analytical needs and business/customer requirements and reporting.

  • Assesses and prioritize projects and changing needs of the Department.

  • Basic statistical modeling and analysis of data using advanced software.

  • Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.

Skills and Qualifications


  • Must possess basic understanding of credit card system.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a digital marketing, risk analytics, or related area. Experience must reflect work with data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. A degree in Math/Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or IT related experience is required.

  • Ability to prepare strategic and departmental dashboards for business modeling and metrics reporting.

  • Required competencies include: PC skills, including competency with T-SQL or SAS, Excel, Word, and Power BI.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to independently write queries, understand data table relationships and structures, and formulate actionable conclusions.

  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Engage in independent self-direction; must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of the position with little supervision; assesses priorities and changing needs and directs oneself accordingly.

  • Familiarity with statistical modeling using SAS E-Minor or an equivalent preferred but not required.

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships


  • Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
