The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Software Engineer in the Continuous Integration and Testing team, you will be responsible, for  implementing and managing the tooling that is part of an industry leady CI practice to improve delivery quality and predictability.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Creating a Continuous Integration and Testing (CIT) framework from the ground up: This includes Identifying methodologies and tools (including hardware infrastructure and software) which will allow for, fast deployment and testing of our software components in the cloud as well as in traditional data centers.


• Meeting with various stakeholders (Senior management and Engineering leads) to ensure proper development and integration testing methodologies are followed by engineers, prior to code being deployed into the CI environment.


• Creating an “intelligent CI practice which provides targeted reporting on failed deploys

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and ten (10) years experience as a software Engineer in lieu of the Bachelor' Degree requirement


• Three (3) years experience working in Linux

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with AWS


• Experience with Terraform


• Experience with Ansible or similar


• Experience with Docker or similar


• Experience with Kubernetes or similar


• Experience working in a DevOPS  role

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: Pittsburgh PA
