Job Description

WANTED: An experienced Associate Engineer and Towed Array Test Equipment (TATE) Subject Matter Expert with demonstrated experience in the installation, operation, troubleshooting/repair and logistical support of current towed array test equipment at all Intermediate Maintenance Activities, Calibration facilities and Towed Array Depots.

As a TATE Associate Engineer you will:

• Work as a member of the American Systems Maritime Lifecycle & Readiness Directorate in support of the Towed Array Test Equipment (TATE) In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) located in Virginia Beach, VA.

A week in the life of a TATE Associate Engineer:

• Assist the Program Office in the management of Towed Array Test Equipment in the areas of installation, operation, troubleshooting/repair and logistical support.


• Contribute directly to Fleet Tactical readiness and US defense posture by ensuring all TATE at IMA's, Depots and Cal Facilities is operational at all times.


• Conduct site visits to IMA's, Depots and Cal Facilities


• Assist IMA's, Depots and Cal Facilities in troubleshooting on-site or virtually


• Work as part of a Military/Government Civilian/Contractor Team


• This position is critical for the proper analysis of Fleet funding priorities

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree or Applicable service schools


• DOD Secret Clearance

At least 5 years' applicable experience in:

• Towed Array Test Equipment logistics support


• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products
