The Digital Content Team provides full-service SEO, content strategy & publishing services to help achieve our collective goal of providing a user experience worthy of our friends and family when using our companies' websites.
The Digital Content Project Manager will work closely with all business stakeholders to understand and define requirements and deadlines. This person will work collaboratively with content development partners such as UX, creative services, brand and IT to connect all aspects of content development with the goal of upholding quality and increasing efficiency.
This person must demonstrate expertise in project planning, milestone management, creating dashboards, and presenting status on all projects within the team.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a team player, possess the ability to work independently, and have passion for learning the business, product and content.
Responsibilities
Manage content intake request using email & Jira. Educate stakeholders on how to request work from for multiple teams.
Improve current intake and content operations process
Ability to coach stakeholders on the content development process for the digital content team, UX and creative services.
Manage scheduling of digital content team tasks for larger JIRA stories or epics
Write up JIRA stories when requestor is not able to or when needed sooner than requester has JIRA access
Drive the weekly content intake grooming meeting, assign projects to team members.
Manage content operations process including tracking down assets (copy, images) between stakeholders, legal, compliance and creative/UX teams.
Create content operations JIRA dashboards
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education; 2 years of relevant experience
Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change
Experience using Jira, excel, word, and power point
Experience in content development & operations for websites is required
Responsible for providing project support to digital content strategist and manager as well as supporting the team with coordination and support, and providing general administrative duties as needed
Provides project coordination and support on assigned projects
Assists the content strategist and manager with managing the project workflow/lifecycle to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget
Develops analytic reports for clients and team members that assess or quantify the status of the project
Provide general support in creating project sites, storing project documentation in appropriate sites, identifying projects with deficient documentation, following up with content strategist to ensure all appropriate documentation is in place
Monitors and documents team activities
Participates in meetings with clients and task members and identifies additional follow up needs
Provide general administrative support including monitoring calendar, setting up meetings, meeting arrangements
Perform other duties as assigned.
