Job Summary

The Implementation Experience Coordinator (IEC) is responsible for supporting successful onboarding for ASO, Shared Advantage, and complex Fully Insured clients across all lines of business for Commercial Markets. The IEC is responsible for supporting the Implementation Experience Manager through cross-functional coordination, collaboration, and documentation to streamline the implementation process and facilitate growth and retention. This position will be externally facing, interact frequently with senior leadership, sales executives, and account executives from multiple sales and account management organizations, and interact with leadership from across all functional areas within Blue Shield of California.

Responsibilities


  • Successfully supported client implementations within a matrixed environment.

  • Responsible for supporting insights to drive growth and retention, implement process improvement, and deploy cross-functional solutions.

  • Responsible for supporting the continual development and enhancement of processes to meet business objectives.

  • Accountable owner of key implementation tasks leading to a successful client implementation.

  • Acumen to prioritize and manage complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously with appropriate urgency.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills suited for various audiences, both internal and external.

  • Highlight skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new tools, software, and applications to develop new processes that improve performance and efficiency.

  • Other duties as assigned.








Knowledge and Experience


  • Typically, requires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Healthcare Administration, Sales, Account Management, Implementations, Proposals, Operations, Business Process, Program Ownership, and Business Development experience required with a demonstrated track record of success in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Experienced in explaining complex concepts, ideas, and solutions for processes, products, and capabilities to a wide range of audiences.

  • Experienced in positioning content and materials in the pursuit or retention of business.

  • Subject matter expert level of knowledge of process, product, and program design, development, and management required.

  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with hands-on, 'roll up your sleeves' can-do attitude. A jack of all trades that thrives within a fast paced, unknown, and changing environment.

  • Data-driven user centric approach to product development and management, with demonstrated ability to anticipate various stakeholders' needs.

  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience presenting in sales, C-Suite, and large group settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others using data and market practices across large cross-functional initiatives, business segments, and project teams.

  • Entrepreneurially spirited and visionary, unafraid of being a trailblazer.

  • The ability to compartmentalize problems and ideas into achievable and strategic solutions.
