The Role
The successful candidate will join the Karl Storz Lithotripsy-America (KSLA) team and will be a remote based employee but will need to be able to travel up to 75% of the time to client locations and be willing to perform work activities in the field and outside of normal working hours. The ideal candidate could be based in the Midwest/South or Eastern part of the U.S as many of our clients are in the central/eastern time zone & the travel could be local (driving) or less intensive flights. KSLA has their corporate offices in the greater Atlanta area (Kennesaw, GA).
The Clinical Application Specialist will use their expertise as a licensed Radiological Technologist to performLithotripsy/Urological procedures in multiple surgical environments for Karl Storz Lithotripsy-America customers. As our product champion, the Clinical Applications Specialist is the "face to the customer" and therefore must possess excellent communication skills and product knowledge. The CAS is responsible for providing training and direct support to facility users and prospective users mainly through initial onsite visits and subsequent phone/web meetings. The specialist prepares and facilitates training based on users' and the organization's needs, interfacing closely with the Sales Team during product demonstrations and subsequent installations. The specialist may perform technical service of both demonstration and installed systems when onsite and serves as a subject matter source to support all KARL STORZ Lithotripsy-America product line devices. Specialists must be able to secure multistate licensures as needed and maintain continuing education requirements as well as background checks to keep all licensures current.
