Job Description

AMERICAN SYSTEMS Program Mangers work at the intersection of customer needs, technical solutions, and business practices to deliver against contract requirements that enable mission success. As our support to the US Air Force grows, we need experiencedprogram managers with who know how to apply all the aspects of planning, scheduling, managing, and reporting within a multi-project, fast-paced technical environment. AMERICAN SYSTEMS has been quietly accelerating our support to countering the effects of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs). As part of our growth, we need your understanding of the Air Force mission and focus onforce protection requirements to lead a global effort in developing and deploying counter-UAS solutions. As our PM, you can expect to engage across all aspects of the program to include -

• Working in conjunction with our Government partners and contractor teammates to help define system components, software requirements, and installation activities associated with new system requirements.


• Lead all communication activities between the Government and our team to ensure we are meeting expectations and achieving our delivery metrics.


• Working proactively with an array of engineering teams and disciplines to achieve a completely operational, installable, and sustainable final product.


• Lead team meetings, presentations, and development of contract deliverables as required by the contract.

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate will -

• Possess a current TSclearance


• Have experience managing programs of $50M or more with preference given to Air Force, UAS,or global force protection programs


• Have experience managing programs that use life-cycle development models in systems engineering and/or software development


• A Bachelors degree that includes aminimum of 10 years of program management experience or a Masters degree that includes 5 years of program management experience


• A PMP or DAWIA Level III management certificate


• Willingness to travel to CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations
