Job Summary

We are currently seeking aModeling & SimulationOperations SMEto assist & support global missions requiring continuous exercise, training, and assessment support to enable USSTRATCOM to execute the overarching U.S. Department of Defense policy and provide global capabilities in support of national strategic, and tactical requirements. Additionally, plan and execution joint exercises, training, wargames, developing current and emerging training and exercise modeling and simulation, mission assessments, and education/organizational development programs are required to ensureUSSTRATCOMand its components are prepared to accomplish their mission.

Qualifications



  • At least12 yearsofexperience using government provided tools and models to develop, test, and execute fully integrated and dynamic M&S to stimulate all display systems used during exercises, training, and wargames.




  • Experience withGlobal Command and Control System (GCCS) Common Operational Picture (COP); Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES); Force Status Readiness (FSR) database; and virtualized Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and BMD display.




  • Experience with the following tools/modelstoincludebut not limited tothe following:





  • Joint Integrated Ballistic Missile Defense/Missile Warning Training System (JIMDTS).





  • Low Overhead Training Simulation (LOTS).




  • Scenario Injector; Hyperion.




  • Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM).





  • Operate and maintain the baseline Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) M&S systems in order to support training and exercises.




  • Knowledgeable withmissile warning, missile defense, Nuclear Command, Control and Communication (NC3), and space.





  • Manage M&S/LVC components in the virtualized and federated architecture in coordination with other government agencies to ensure the environment is available for use by the training audience.




  • Provide help desk support to users of the baseline system during normal working hours with 24/7 surge capability for limited durations as required during exercises and training events.




  • Support government project management of the LVC M&S system, to include working closely with customers to articulate training environment requirements, support agreements with M&S tool provisioning offices, scheduling of system maintenance and down time, and other project management functions as may be identified to effectively deliver the M&S/LVC services to a training audience.




  • Administer the M&S infrastructure, to include virtualization of M&S tools, provisioning of the tools to virtual training environments, user account management, and train-the-trainer for use of the environment.




  • Perform train-the-trainer functionsonsitein addition to offerings at temporary duty (TDY) locations.





  • Provide distributed M&S operations technical support to other combatant commands and their components.




  • Providetechnical support for scenario generation and configurations, configuration of networks and user permissions, real-time technical support during LVC events as scheduled and approved, maintenance of technical documentation of system changes, and analysis/assessment of gaps of LVC technologies discovered through training/exercise events.




  • Provide innovative M&S services and capabilities.




  • Provide technical analysis and prototypes of innovative M&S services.




  • Assist the government with responsible prototyping of new M&S/LVC offerings through experimentation, prototyping, testing, and fielding of already developed components into the distributed training environment.





  • Support technical planning and communication of the architecture design and development in order to facilitate integration of the M&S/LVC effort's delivery to a world-wide training audience.
