Who we want… (Requirements)

The successful candidate will have an Associate’s degree or four (4) years of experience in an accounting position(s); or the equivalent combination of both. Experience in construction or engineering firm is highly preferred.

Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications. The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills. Must be physically present in the Versailles office.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

Provides clerical support in a wide range of activities that include, but are not limited to, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Tasks that may be associated are


  • Maintains vendor accounts by verifying federal id numbers, insurance, remit information, etc.

  • Assists in entry of accounts payable invoices

  • Prints and mail vendor payments, paying specific attention to discount opportunities

  • Communicates with vendors regarding unresolved balances and or discrepancies

  • Prepares owner billings and appropriate lien waivers

  • Maintains accounting job files for contracts, change orders, insurance, billings, etc.Monitors expiration dates on company licenses and project specific insurance to ensure that Company stays in compliance with appropriate authorities

  • Tracks company fleet and equipment, verifying current insurance and registrations are in place. Maintains log of approved drivers and communicates to appropriate group when exceptions occur.

  • Compiles information on tax incentive programs for maximum benefit to the project customers.

  • Be personally responsible for having a productive day by offering assistance to all team members during slow periods. Will also serve as a back-up for administrative team members during breaks and vacations.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Part Time position may be considered.
