Job Requirements


  • The new team member is required to have a bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in network development work with a project-based focus, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support, maintenance, and end to end implementation. OR

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with automation, material handling and process engineering project management, including requirements definition, solution design, development, documentation, commissioning and startup, training, maintenance, and end to end implementation.

  • Applicable candidates should have experience in standard project management practices, including project scope, budget, goals, technical and functional requirements. Scope and budget balance with customer needs and expectations from design through commissioning and long-term support.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

  • Must possess advanced computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, email applications, knowledge of various operating systems and network administration. Will be required to utilize software to develop visual presentations to relay complex information to customers.

Essential Functions

  • Design and implement network/compute architecture that follows customer specifications and industry best practices.

  • Develop implementation plans that require minimal downtime and impact to customer manufacturing environments.

  • Ensures project data and documentation is regularly updated in PM tools and kept current to ensure accurate communication of project status. Ensures project status is concise and uses business terminology.

  • Develop project schedules, track schedule progress and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.

  • Assists in design and engineering efforts; monitors and reports on financial status of the project(s).

  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Visits job site(s) as needed to review progress and quality of work, with possible required relocation to the jobsite for commissioning activities.

  • Responsible for delivering projects within committed timelines, on budget, and with approved scope.

  • Submit verbal and written reports on project status to management.

  • The position will include customer interaction at a functional and technical level, candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical solutions and issues.

  • Work with other team members, partners or customers as needed to oversee or share design and development responsibilities to deliver successful projects.
