Are you an instinctively team oriented and ambitious individual? Are you ready to join a dynamic and highly talented, global group? Join our Asset Management business as an Vice President/Senior Vice President and work with our Private Credit team.


Macquarie Asset Management - Private Credit team, invests in infrastructure debt assets on behalf of Macquarie's institutional client base and is a leader in the asset class. This team combines the best of Macquarie's deep infrastructure debt experience with a flexible and highly dynamic approach to investing for our clients and growing opportunities for the business.


As a Vice President or Senior Vice President within the New York team you will be contributing to the continued growth of the Private Credit platform. You will be involved with the origination, assessment and execution of new investment opportunities and management of existing portfolio assets.


Your responsibilities will require you to:



  • Take responsibility for all aspects of new investments including credit analysis, approvals and commercialnegotiations

  • Supervise and review duediligence

  • Oversee the building/sensitizing of financialmodels

  • Develop and build relationships with external borrowercounterparties

  • Assess and comment on commercialcontracts

  • Negotiation of terms sheets and documentation of facility agreements

  • Responsibility for producing investment papers and responding to client and Investment Committee requests

  • Monitor portfolio assets including assessment of amendmentrequests

  • Assist in the development of junior teammembers

  • Have involvement in relationship management with new and existing investorclients


You will be experienced in Project, Corporate or Structured Finance, Debt Advisory or Investment Banking. Transaction experience across a broad spectrum of sectors including power, renewables, midstream, transportation and digital infrastructure will be particularly advantageous.


Strong prioritisation skills, ability to deliver within tight timelines, effectiveness in planning and ensuring quality output will be essential in this role.You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, proactive, and resilient individual.


You will be highly numerate and possess skills in all aspects of credit and financial analysis. You will have the ability to demonstrate sound business judgement whilst executing critical work streams with limited supervision and direction. You possess strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and be an effective team player.


Finally, you will be degree-educated.
