Job Summary
We are currently seeking aCommunications Systems for Exercise and Training Events Supportto assist global missions requiring continuous exercise, training, and assessment support to enable USSTRATCOM to execute the overarching U.S. Department of Defense policy and provide global capabilities in support of national strategic, and tactical requirements. Additionally, plan and execution joint exercises, training, wargames, developing current and emerging training and exercise modeling and simulation, mission assessments, and education/organizational development programs are required to ensureUSSTRATCOMand its components are prepared to accomplish their mission.
Qualifications
At least 5+ years of experience in Nuclear Command, Control and Communications Operations, to include MAJCOM-level experience operating audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems/equipment.
Command/Operations Center/Battle Staff experience is desirable.
At least 4 years of demonstrated detailed experience operating audio, video, video teleconferencing, and data communications systems/equipment types listed below:
Secure and Non-Secure Voice Over Internet Protocol telephones (VOIP).
Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN).
Audio recorder.
Enhanced Communications Console (ECC).
AMX Video Display unit.
PLANAR Video Wall.
Digital Integrated Communications.
Electronic System (DICES) thin client audio controller.
Distributive Continuity Integrated Network-TS (GOLD).
Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).
Voice-Over-Internet Protocol (VOIP) terminals.
STRATCOM Training and Enterprise Network (STEN).
Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES), and/or Joint Integrated Missile Defense Missile Warning Training System (JIMDTS).
Current Security+ (plus) certification or be capable of completing the certification within 3 months of hire.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Normal office environment.
Travel
Domestic travel may be required in support of program & coordination.
