SUMMARY OF POSITION: We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Business Development & Executive Consultant with experience selling and delivering Culture, Diversity & Inclusion solutions. You will be responsible for working with large fortune 500 accounts, many of them with global operations, and proactively reaching out to ensure client requirements are being addressed while continuously hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of establishing executive relationships, bringing on new business and engaging with the Practice Leader to solution the opportunity. The position requires experience in consulting, solution design and delivery of services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Practice Leader to create a business development plan to achieve annual business targets
Manage the entire consulting cycle from finding a client to solutioning the opportunity and securing a deal
Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
Present products to prospective clients
Provide/manage professional services teams to deliver the proposed solution
Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
Work with Strategic Account Executives to respond to opportunities and manage any client requirements
Negotiate agreements and determine resources required to deliver solution
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as an Executive Consultant and Business Development
Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
Knowledge of Culture, Diversity & Inclusion in the global marketplace.
Knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office suite; knowledge of virtual platforms for video conferencing / client meetings is a plus
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
Organizational and time-management skills
A business acumen
Enthusiastic and passionate
BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
