Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Sales Compliance Analyst must possess a strong ability to adapt and adjust in an ever-changing environment. Supporting the Company's East and West Residential and Commercial Sales Organizations, the Compliance Analyst ensures compliance to the order entry process and Mobile product order entry process. Primary function is to analyze and manage data according to organizational needs. Must be able to analyze and present insight from informational data. Must have the ability to identify trends and provide continuous updates that will help improve existing processes and drive business solutions. The Compliance Analyst is responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and for ensuring adherence to all order entry processes for all departments.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyze data, develops reports to disseminate to local sales offices, identifying key areas of non-compliance to business rules.

  • Reviews data to identify basic trends and analysis. Reports findings to supervisor, manager or director for action.

  • Extract data from multiple sources, organizing into understandable information to provide to Senior Management team.

  • Makes recommendations and solutions on processes and policy based on reporting and business needs.

  • Ensure SOX compliance for non-pay business rules, promotional eligibility rules, in order to prevent revenue loss for the organization.

  • Responsible to stay up to date with all current and new promotions for all Residential Sales.

  • Monitor credit analysis reports to ensure all sales reps are within adherence

  • Responsible for testing all new offers, rate codes and product rules in IDA.

  • Perform call audits for the Sales organization to use for coaching purposes.

  • Responsible for submitting Billing Request when error reporting is needed and follow up to ensure all error reports are current in adherence to Sales compliance.

  • Responsible to attend weekly compliance meetings to identify trends, new promotions and rate codes.

  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining confidential files and completing project-oriented tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Creates and maintains logs, records, databases and files.

  • Utilizes various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents.

  • Participates in complex projects and performs other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an analytical role required

  • Proficient knowledge with proven experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access required

  • Experience in application development utilizing relational databases such as SQL (Oracle and ProstgreSQL), and Windows

  • Mathematical aptitude required

  • 60 college credits preferred with an emphasis on computer science or equivalent practical experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or related industry a plus

  • Ability to think critically and analytically

  • Data mining and querying preferred

  • Creating Macros and VBA a plus

  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrable logical skills

  • Ability to solve problems independently

  • Serve as an individual contributor and team member

  • Ability to multi-task when needed

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required

  • Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy

Working Conditions:
