We are looking to recruit a Master Data Administrator to join our busy Global MIS department. This role will be based in the USA at one of our Offices either in Cincinnati (OH), Salem (OR) or East Bernstadt (KY). The role will however extend to supporting all countries and sites when covering for the Group Master Data Analyst.
The main activities in the role are to control and manage master data entry into our Oracle ERP system. This will include but not be limited to: items, customers, suppliers, bills of material. The candidate will need to prioritise their activities to support business requirements and timelines.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional post providing a business support service. They should have a good working knowledge of Oracle E-business suite.
The candidate needs to demonstrate good attention to detail in all aspects of their work and be determined to follow procedure in striving to maintain the highest system accuracy and consistency.
You will have good communication and team skills but also a customer focussed outlook when working with other department within the business.
Principle purpose of the role:
Assist in ensuring the accuracy and timely update of the Oracle ERP master data records for the BFG Group
Facilitate the master data authorisation and change control process
Support the business with provision of management information
Support the MIS ERP business unit with responsibility for master data maintenance.
Enter, maintain and manage all data entry regarding customers and suppliers in Oracle and maintain the Customer and Supplier master records and support users with updated details when required).
Enter, maintain and manage all formula & recipes as per requests from various departments within the BFG Group (Enter and maintain a complex set up for the item masters and BOMs to a high standard of accuracy, ensuring the timely addition and tracking of new and changing information).
Enter and maintain all product codes ensuring all requests are actioned in a timely manner
Create, maintain and update Essbase categories, Inventory categories, Purchasing categories and sub-categories.
Run weekly reports relating to master data and ensure that they are made available for other departments.
Assist with the creation of dataloads for new Financial years and review of updated data.
Communicate effectively with various departments and business units ensuring standard Baxters procedures are adhered to.
Support and assist in other activities and initiatives from time to time as required.
Provide support and cover for Group Master Data Analyst.
Oracle system administration, creation of Employee records, Oracle userids and assigning responsibilities.
Creation and maintenance of users in non-Oracle systems.
System administration daily tasks, such as monitoring key scheduled requests and processes.
Daily checks of incoming and outgoing EDI orders against system reports.
Pick up any first line service desk incidents or requests as advised by your line manager
