Schedule: 12 hour shift. 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off. (3-4-4-3) With this schedule you will have 3 or 4 days off a week.
Typical Shift: 6pm -- 6am

Primary Purpose of Position:
Carry out the product quality control plans by performing product quality checks on materials, at the production lines, and by helping make decisions on the disposition of materials that may have some type of defect.
Keeps our product safe from contamination by auditing Safe Quality Food processes throughout the plant.
Be detail oriented as the quality role is required to document the results of most tasks that we do.
Holding plant employees accountable for following all of the required processes and rules.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Conducts inspections of in-process materials and in-process finished products to meet customer specifications. This includes but is not restricted to measuring steel-can attributes in order to confirm our quality specifications are being met. Performs other checks as required.
Advises production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.
Performs record keeping, Hold-For-Inspection (HFI), and related duties as required.
Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment as required.
Performs organizational duties, including maintaining an organized and clean work area, complying with 5S guidelines.
Communicates pertinent information to next crew.
Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
Participates in teams and work groups with goal of continuous improvement.
Required to work scheduled shift per the needs of the plant. While the regular working cycle of this position is usually a 3-4-4-3 continuous schedule, working hours may vary as specified by management. You must be able to work overtime as needed.
Interacts with customers to verify quality and satisfaction.
