Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of Governance and Compliance Program in remediating risks associated with Technology Assets
  • Providing strategic, multi-year roadmap planning, and budget planning using industry best practices
  • Gathering requirements and developing software / hardware asset reports for internal customers
  • Gathering requirements and developing software / hardware asset reports for internal customers
  • Monitoring deployed assets both in Cloud and On Prem to ensure that only authorized assets are deployed
  • Ensure that appropriate resources (people, tools, services) and processes are in place to gather and analyze data relating to technology asset life cycles and related processes
  • Develop and Report on remediation of digital technology asset-related risks and progress of optimization activity
  • Gathering requirements and developing software / hardware asset reports for internal customers
  • Provide Technology/Security/Procurement/Risk and Finance with the data to support the analysis of digital / technology assets following Asset Life Cycle Management and Configuration Life Cycle Management CMDB .
  • Assign responsibilities for sub-disciplines, such as software asset management (SAM), hardware asset management (HAM) and IT asset disposition (ITAD)
  • Work with IT & Cybersecurity teams to ensure that ITAM-related tools and services are properly evaluated, selected, implemented, configured and maintained, with appropriate integration with other sources of organizational data
  • Supervise the organization's response to software vendor license compliance audits or license validation requests
  • Provide access to technology asset data in support of essential activities required to support the effective running of the business
  • Manage the everyday functions of the core IT Asset Management team
  • Handle other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, and/or other related IT / Health field
  • 10+ years of experience in technology with proven career progression
  • Must have experience managing Cloud, On Prem, and hardware assets
  • Strong change management/leadership skills.
  • Experience leading engineering and IT organizations that are distributed and remote.
  • Proficiency in process formulation and improvement
  • Solid analytical, data processing, and problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Preferred:

  • Gathering requirements and developing software / hardware asset reports for internal customers
  • Experience with O365, Azure, ServiceNOW
  • ITIL, Six Sigma, or Lean Certification
