This Administrative Manager - Research position will sit in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DCAPBS). The Administrative Manager will serve as a focal point to centralize and standardize research business operations, oversee fiscal aspects of research portfolios, and provide administrative budgetary and financial oversight and performance management of department research projects. The Administrative manager will assist department research leadership and faculty in preparing budgets, coordinate effort certifications, and will be responsible for developing mechanisms for tracking and reconciling budgets and expenditures for externally and internally funded research projects. He or she will develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with faculty in the department and key members of applicable research departments (pre and post award, research business office, research finance, sponsored projects) and be the central point of contact for research faculty. The ideal candidate will exhibit skills that optimize best practices related to business management and will demonstrate an ability to lead high-functioning teams.
Operations and Management of all research activities within The Center:
Provide administrative leadership and support for clinical research investigators and coordinators.
Organize, monitor and assist with review, editing, and submission process of manuscripts, articles, and other publications as needed as well as preparation process for presentations at scientific meetings.
