Cloudera's Support organization is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience. The programs managers within Support achieves that goal by offering outstanding project management and process improvement through utilizing an exceptional skill set to accomplish objectives and goals. The successful candidate will work closely with internal cross-functional team members to drive key aspects of support capability planning and implementation.

A Day in the Life

You will manage programs and projects that enable Support to operate more efficiently and effectively while providing an outstanding customer experience to Cloudera partners and customers. Your work ultimately drives increased team productivity and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other teams, both internally with Support and Cloudera colleagues, and externally with partners and customers.

You Will


  • Lead cross-functional team(s) and subject matter experts in the development, planning, and implementation of multiple complex projects and/or programs. These often have competing timelines and require resource prioritization


  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understanding their requirements and delivering expectations


  • Deliver regular progress and/or results to executives


  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive efficiencies to improve productivity and processes


  • Evaluate and recommend scalable solutions that address business needs and align with company goals


  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of initiatives


You Have


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years project/program management experience


  • Solid program management skills with demonstrated experience in operationalizing and delivering on time


  • A strong analytical and metrics-driven approach to creating substantiated solutions


  • Proven ability to drive results in cross-functional settings


  • Superb organization and prioritization skills


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


  • Adaptability in an agile and fast paced environment


  • Ability to execute independently and work with team members from all levels


  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of your work and ability to work with ambiguity
