We are currently seeking an Environmental and Energy Specialist for our Agriculture Manufacturing facility based in New Holland, Pennsylvania.


Responsibilities include:


  • Designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental and energy programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are compliant with regulations.

  • Investigates environmental incidents, develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent recurrence.

  • Promotes and implements environmentally conscious work performance and training programs applicable to the plant's policies and processes.

  • Leads the plant's pollution prevention and waste minimization programs through periodic monitoring and technical guidance.

  • Maintains detailed records and prepares related reports and studies for submission to a variety of regulatory agencies.

  • Provides technical assistance and guidance on capital projects which may have an environmental or energy impact.

  • Conducts environmental and energy audits, and investigations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental laws, standards and regulations.

  • Responsibilities are within the Environmental and Energy job family.

  • Assists with maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 5001 Certifications.

  • Leads the plant's World Class Manufacturing Environment and Energy Pillars.

  • Other related duties as assigned.


The qualified candidate will have:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety Sciences, or other related technical discipline

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Title IV Air Permits, Wastewater and Stormwater Permits preferred
