Product Data Manager oversees the storage, availability, maintenance and publication of Medline's product data for over 450,000 active SKU's.
The Product Data Manager also manages the Product Data team and collaborates cross-functionally with key internal partners in order to ensure the proper execution of business requirements and rules through the data channels.
Key Responsibilities
Manages the members of the Product Data team and oversees employee development; provides training on data governance expectations, standards and processes, as well as career development and succession planning for the teams.
Serves as the primary business owner for Product Data related activities to identify and solution business challenges, adapt to the changing business needs, and troubleshoot issues with existing processes/systems.
Identifies opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, or improve data quality, and works with appropriate business leaders to obtain support required to effect the change.
Develops analysis and reporting, as well as the successful implementation of data management techniques/tools to ensure data integrity.
Works closely with Information Services (IS) to design, and implement Product Data standards, governance, processes, and technologies especially in the area of electronic data capture, data management and data review tools.
Understands various business domains and formulates policies, procedures and KPIs to maintain data quality.
Leads collaborative efforts cross-functionally throughout Medline to obtain, deliver and maintain accurate, high-quality data.
Provides project management leadership; manages cross-functional projects and tasks by collaborating and leading team members to ensure the successful execution of a project.

5 years previous Product Data, Master Data or related experience preferred
Previous supervisory or management experience required
Expert knowledge of data manipulation and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Access. Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies with minimal guidance
Experience with Data Governance initiatives a plus
Experience with SAP R3 MM PP SD preferred
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills both in person and remote required
Highly self-motivated, always acts with sense of urgency, without sacrificing accuracy and integrity
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects, multiple deadlines and/or shifting priorities
After hours and weekend work could be required in the event of data-related emergencies or project implementations
