Job Description:
This position resides in the AT&T Network Sales Support (NSS) organization and is responsible for the processing of Pre-sale requests that are submitted by the sales organization. These pre-sales requests are intended to obtain and provide preliminary network designs and costs to the AT&T pricing organization. Serves as advisor to the sales force, customers and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical, scientific or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation and utilization of organization products and/or services.
Monitor workload ques/buckets and perform appropriate actions depending upon needs of the pre-sale cases
Engage network planning teams
Monitor and engage appropriate organizations regarding their due dates to prevent missed milestones.
Be responsive to the sales teams and provide input/guidance regarding RFPs, issues, questions, concerns.
Proposes changes in products and/or services that result in cost reductions and increased sales.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Math or Science preferred or related experience.
Typically requires 2-3 years experience
Telecommunications Network planning and design knowledge conceptual knowledge and theory
Technical sales submission process
Knowledge of Telecommunications network topologies (Serving Wire Center, fiber routes, diversity requirements, Inter-office facilities)
