 What You’ll Get to Do! 

The Corporate Director of Operations is responsible for leading a variety of performance, administrative, and contractual components of MVM contracts including the implementation of program data analytics, established workflows, standard operating procedures and protocols, staffing and training compliance. The DPO also responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership qualities, established resource management skills, excellent organizational abilities, strong communications skills, successful experience working in a team setting and be able to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Leads data analysis function and recommends or refines policy/procedure modifications based on data trends which will enhance services to government clients.
• Manages quantitative and qualitative data from primary and secondary sources, effectively distilling and distributing critical information
• Makes effective and timely data-driven decisions to streamline and improve business processes, weighing consequences and impacts, while mitigating risks.
• Prepares and delivers visually compelling reports and presentations to communicate findings and makes recommendations to the executive team.
• Guides and leads other managers in ensuring performance obligations are met. Obligations include: QC reviews of daily operations, meeting staffing requirements, and resolving employee concerns in a timely fashion in collaboration with Human Resources.
• Leverages technology and/or makes recommendations to employ technology that will improve program efficiency, transparency, accountability, and quality while mitigating risk.
• Sustains a daily communication schedule with all managers and supervisors by coordinating and leading regular meetings.
• Maintains and updates operating procedures, protocols and guidelines that support the changing/evolving needs of the operation
• Maintains current knowledge and stays abreast of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and all other applicable statutory requirements to ensure MVM’s conformance to governmental regulations and policies.
• Promotes and models effective corporate and program collaboration across all functional support areas to ensure company best practices are continuously incorporated and consistently executed across the program and to foster a positive culture rooted in teamwork, accountability, and shared purpose.
• Leverages key performance indicators to proactively monitor and improve performance (i.e., conducts audits, tracks funding, assists with quality control, prepares reports, etc.)
• Ensures exemplary company integrity and compliance with applicable regulations and governmental statutes
• Preserves and safeguards sensitive and confidential information
• Proactively works with HR/Recruiting to address staffing goals and challenges in each office.
• Leads special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Criminal Justice, Social Work or related field
• 5 years of Senior Management experience demonstrating a capacity to effectively manage a workforce of at least 150 employees at geographically dispersed locations.
• Demonstrable experience with facility start/stand ups.
• Demonstrated ability to establish productive, open, and trusted relationships at various levels within the organization
• Analytical mindset with ability to leverage technology, manage multiple contract requirements and improve complex processes and procedures while also managing high expectations of stakeholders and employees
• Produces high quality deliverables with strong attention to detail
• Exhibits a high degree of resourcefulness as well as critical problem solving and adapts as necessary in response to challenges, change, and uncertainty with calm demeanor
• Demonstrates initiative, results driven, acts on opportunities to add value
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills; delivers information in a clear and concise manner; listens and communicates effectively at all levels of the organization
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Availability to travel within the United States
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance and be drug-free
• Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, confidentiality and integrity
• Must thrive in a 24/7 fast-paced, ever evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years working and supporting government contracting
• PMP certification
