Role Summary:


Provide Records Management support and assistance to the organization, identifying opportunities for RIM training and/or process improvements.


In this role you will:



  • Utilize and maintain the enterprise Records Management software system; provide support and assistance to enterprise users

  • Maintain and update the Corporate Record Retention and Information Management program, policies, and procedures, as needed.

  • Research and analyze records and retention requirements, update the retention schedule, perform regular records destruction, and other records management activities, all in accordance with our legal, regulatory, and contractual responsibilities.

  • Provide records management support to the electronic content management team as it relates to the retention, description, and disposition requirements of electronic records.

  • Support the litigation hold process by ensuring responsive records are properly identified, retained, and protected, as required by each directive.

  • Serve as a Records Liaison to DHA in support of our TRICARE contracts, as well as to our prime contractors.

  • Monitor industry trends and suggest changes to the RIM program to comply with legal/regulatory requirements, business needs, and RIM industry best practices.

You need to have:



  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Library Science, Information Management, or related field, or equivalent years of experience


We also prefer:



  • Coursework involving specialized courses in Records Management, Library Science, Information Management or other Records and Information Management-related field

  • 2 or more years of experience in the Records and Information Management, Library Science, or related field

  • Working knowledge of advanced records management concepts, processes, and technology

  • Experience working in the healthcare or insurance industry

  • Understanding of database systems as well as principles of metadata
