Event Sales Positions

Our Premier Catering Company is seeking dynamic and driven Event Sales professionals to join our team! We are looking to fill various sales positions in both hourly and salaried roles depending on candidate experience. The Sales positions will, under the general direction of the Executive Event Sales Manager, perform and coordinate sales duties including office work, client meetings, walkthroughs and will execute menu tastings and events. Most positions do require evening and weekend hours dependent on event scheduling.

Event Sales Coordinator responsibilities

• Acts as the liaison between the client and Cameron Mitchell Premier Events


• Assures proper event execution, service and safety standards


• Practices and supports Cameron Mitchell Restaurants culture and exhibits Genuine Hospitality at all times


• Takes and responds to initial client inquiries via phone and internet


• Creates proposals in line with clients vision and company standard


• Meets with client to make rental selections, begin preliminary details

• Understands and navigates through Caterease and StaffMate easily


• Inputs new events and modifies current events in Caterease


• Attends walkthroughs and client meetings


• Communicates to client professionally at all times via email, in person or via phone


• Manages time within given schedule


• Responsible for client billing


• Starts proposals and edits menus and contracts for Sales Manager as needed


• Attends networking events as needed


• Weekly review of period, quarter and yearly sales goals

Event Sales Position skills

• 2+ years of catering, sales or venue experience, will vary by position


• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent team development and leadership skills


• Preferred: Bachelors degree in related field
