Job Description:

The Application Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, implementing application changes, workflow enhancements and small projects in our enterprise applications as well as assuring the applications availability, reliability, and performance according to business and client needs.


 


Responsibilities



  • Follow and execute Standard Operational Procedures to maintain Enterprise Applications and ensure their correct functioning and performance to meet SLAs commitments

  • Identify recurring support activities and proactively plan solutions to prevent issues requiring support.

  • Ability to read, create and execute SQL scripts and ad hoc reporting to satisfy client’s needs.

  • Promptly support end users with simple to moderate  troubleshooting issues and problems  impacting Application’s performance

  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

  • Stay up to date regarding applications’ market and offerings by competitors

  • Become efficient in navigating through the servers and applications to find and resolve issues.

Qualifications



  • 2+ years of experience supporting applications based on the Microsoft SQL Server

  • Competent in SQL

  • Litigation Support experience is preferred, especially in working with document review applications like Relativity, iPRO, LAW, Reveal and Nuix

  • • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or commensurate experience

  • Ability to work with multi-cultural, global, and multi-time zone teams

  • Multi-task with superior decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for processes improvement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Available for after-hours and weekend on-call work as necessary to support applications

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills

  • Perform in a highly functional, demanding, and ever-changing environment

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and implement controlled changes

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities

  • Ability to evaluate and discern issues and make the proper judgement call to escalate for resolution

  • High sense of urgency and commitment to exceeding customer expectations

  • Self-starter with excellent problem solving; follow up
