As a Fraud Risk Strategic Associate, you'll perform analysis and drive changes needed to manage and deploy credit card fraud strategies. The team operates in a very fast paced environment and requires rapid response time to emerging issues, giving you the the opportunity to leverage your strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills. A sense of urgency, effective time management and being detail oriented will be key.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of Card Fraud strategies to evaluate their effectiveness in preventing loss while minimizing operational expense and optimizing the customer experience
• Communicate across partner teams and at all levels, presenting strategies for approval and obtaining executive buy-in
• Manage deliverables needed to implement strategies by working with stakeholders to design solutions, develop requirements and test their implementation
• Monitor strategies to identify emerging attacks and trends and make changes to strategies in response
• Ensure compliance with existing control structure while also driving future enhancements

Qualifications:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university preferred and 3+ years of experience in a Risk Management or quantitative role, preferably in credit cards or financial services

• Working knowledge of detection & mitigation practices for fraud types, Including Identity Theft, Account Take Over and Rewards Theft

• Experience with SAS and SQL• Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information

• Strong written and oral communication skills
