The Product Sr Manager is accountable for leading a team to deliver product portfolio management, including the conceptualization, development, launch, and post-launch management of all related products and instruments, globally, to include the planning and execution of all clinical study work, whether for reimbursement purposes or to achieve other marketing objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities


  • Establish global product strategy, messages, and positioning.

  • Leads business planning sessions for all products within portfolio.

  • Manages priority for team as well as justify additional resources as needed.

  • Manages a variety of processes, like PPR and SIOP and NPD/NPI process to include progress reviews, business cases, direct and indirect leadership of multi-functional team members, and go/no go recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Oversees global launches of new products.

  • Analyzes global sales performance and product P&L, identifies causes of variance to targets, and partner with regions.

  • Effectively works with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) for product development purposes.

  • Partners effectively in a matrixed environment and with multiple different cultures and markets.

  • Ensures compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

  • Performs related duties as assigned and/or required.

Expected Areas of Competence


  • Detailed technical understanding of the product portfolio.

  • Detailed understanding of the engineering and manufacturing constraints.

  • Basic understanding of regulatory affairs in critical geographies.

Education/Experience Requirements


  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or related Master's degree is highly preferred.

  • A minimum of 7 years of industry experience with NPI/NPD (New Product Introduction/New Product Development) is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience with NPI/NPD (New Product Introduction/New Product Development) in a medical device environment is highly preferred.

Travel Requirements

Up to 40%

Compensation Range: $115,000 - $137,000
