The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for establishing relationships with key buying influencers for targeted opportunities more than $5 million and for facilitating/leading the Request for Proposal (RFP) and bid process for that activity. Identifying Investment Only (I/O) opportunities and being able to sell in the I/O market. Significant business travel required.


Essential functions for this role include:



  • In collaboration with Vice President develop and implement marketing strategy for institutional sales

  • Develop and actively manage a full sales pipeline by maximizing the opportunity afforded within each channel (consultants, conferences, prospect base, referrals from RPSs, etc.)

  • Develop and utilize a business plan which details activities to be followed during the year in order to achieve the desired goal

  • Maintain and expand accurate and up to date records by way Salesforce system

  • Drive the growth of RFP's, finals, and wins in the identified market

  • Lead the team during the RFP process, in making presentations & closing the sale

  • Direct prospecting with plan sponsors

  • Build strong working relationships with consultants

  • Understanding the Investment Only market and developing opportunities

 If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:



  • BA/BS or equivalent experience; FINRA Series 7, 63 and State Life Insurance & Annuity required

  • 5+ years of experience with Retirement Plan Sales 457, 401(a), 401(k)

  • Significant knowledge of investment products

  • Public Sector experience

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships

  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Excellent knowledge of plan provisions and industry regulations

  • Proven track record in new case acquisitions

  • Proven ability to develop effective relationships at all levels particularly with consultants, elected/appointed officials, senior staff
