Cigna Managed Care Rotational Program - Early Career Full-Time Associate
Are you an aspiring business leader? Do you want to make an impact in the healthcare industry? Cigna's Managed Care Rotational Program (MCRP) develops future leaders through a 2-year intensive leadership development program. The MCRP provides exposure to a variety of business units and functions. Associates drive complex projects and deliver high value, sustainable results. These projects are supplemented by intentional, continuous growth opportunities. The result is an accelerated career trajectory within a Fortune 15 healthcare company.
As an MCRP associate, you will complete three or four rotations during the two years of the program. These rotations will give you exposure to different business areas and give the opportunity to lead and support key initiatives. In addition to these rotational experiences, the program will provide you with professional development, leadership experiences, career coaching, networking/mentorship, exposure to senior leaders, and a supportive community. The MCRP gives associates the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment, with a variety of career paths for associates following the program.
About Managed Care
Before we move on, let us tell you a little more about us. We're a global health service company dedicated to helping people improve their health, well-being, and peace of mind. But we don't just care about your physical health, we care about your career health too. That's why when you work with us, you can count on a different kind of career - you'll make a difference, learn, and share in changing the way people think about healthcare.
The Managed Care Rotation Program supports several Cigna businesses, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Pharmacy, Cigna Medical Group, Individual & Family Plans, Supplemental Benefits, and CareAllies (Cigna's provider-facing consulting firm.) As an MCRP Associate, you have the opportunity to work in any of these businesses.
Cigna Medicare and Medicaid focuses on "managed care". This means that we work hard to keep our customers healthy (managing their care). Rather than keeping costs down by rejecting claims or reducing access to care, we provide value to our customers by engaging them in preventative care programs and on-going wellness initiatives. This is one of the reasons that Cigna has maintained the lowest medical cost trend in the industry over the past several years.
