A&M's Forensic Technology team is comprised of senior forensic and information security technologists, who bring deep expertise in Computer Science and Information Systems, and offer a hands-on approach to collecting, preserving and analyzing electronic information.

In today's digital age, an increasing number of files and communications are stored on computer hard drives, mobile devices, cloud-based systems, or sent through e-mail, thus giving forensic technologists the responsibility of gathering, preserving and presenting evidence for trial in an extremely cost effective and efficient way. In litigation (and other related) cases, the processes used to gather, preserve, analyze and present electronic evidence can make or break your case.

As a firm we are experiencing unprecedented growth and demand for our services and as a result we are expanding our high-profile Digital Forensics Investigations and Electronic Discovery Management teams with the recruitment of an experienced Associate/Senior Associate.

Our Digital Forensics Investigations and Electronic Discovery Management position offers an opportunity to be part of a team that supports a variety of industry sectors, dispute types, and geographic jurisdictions. The problems these consultants solve for A&M's clients are complex and require innovative solutions that call on a comprehensive range of modern data science skills, including descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.

Responsibilities:


  • The successful candidate will support a broad range of complex and high-stakes digital forensics investigations and electronic discovery projects using a variety of best-of-breed, industry-standard tools and best practice procedures

  • The successful candidate will assist at each stage of the project lifecycle, including data identification, forensic preservation, chain-of-custody documentation, extraction, processing/import, search and analysis, and presentation (findings/document production)

  • The successful candidate will help improve efficiency in processing and analyzing large quantities of data and support a data-driven approach to help our clients solve problems

  • The role will offer opportunities to conduct advanced technical analyses of file and operating system-level artifacts, including file registry analysis, internet history analysis, timeline analysis, USB analysis, shellbags analysis, signature and hash analysis, to evaluate relevant information in support of investigation findings and expert testimony

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in digital forensics within a professional service setting

  • An excellent academic record and a BA or BS degree from an accredited university

  • Experience with digital forensics and e-discovery tools, including EnCase, Cellebrite, MacQuisition, BlackLight, Magnet Forensics Axiom, AccessData Forensic Toolkit (FTK), Nuix, and Relativity, to preserve, extract, search, and analyze data from computer and mobile devices, as well as server and cloud-based storage platforms

  • Experience in the forensic preservation, extraction and analysis of data from a broad range of file systems, including server, computer (laptop/desktop, Windows and Mac OS), mobile devices (Android, iPhone, Windows), and cloud storage systems

  • Experience with file and operating system artifact analyses - e.g., file registry analysis, internet history analysis, timeline analysis, USB analysis, shellbags analysis, signature and hash analysis (desired)

  • Industry standard certification(s) such as CFCE, EnCE, ACE, GIAC, DoD (desired)

  • Relativity experience including a Relativity certification (desired)


  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills when working with both clients and internal technical teams, along with ability to provide expert review of accurate and timely technical reports for release to external clients

  • Experience interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite level client executives

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging and uncertain environment
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 20-40% of the time (once it is safe to do so)
