The Opportunity:

We're looking to hire an HR Generalist to join our Minneapolis, MN Corporate HR team. This position will coordinate and administer our company’s HRIS, employee benefits, wellness, talent acquisition, employee engagement and the training and development functions.

Your Day to Day Responsibilities:


  • Contributes to the early formation of a new team while making an impact and contributions in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs

  • Lead the employee onboarding process while partnering with hiring managers and internal stakeholders on making the onboarding experience successful and effective

  • Assists and provides support to the HR team with talent acquisition efforts while leading the recruitment and onboarding process for the nationwide field team

  • Provides support and administration with the company’s ESOP program, the employee recognition program (Ovation), the training and development strategy and the LMS (H2I Learn)

  • Champions the data integrity and the day to day administration of the company’s HRIS, ADP Workforce Now

  • Owns and initiates the unemployment and employment verifications process

  • Provide project management, communications and logistics supportto the HR team

  • Partners with the Corporate Marketing Team in the company’s Fit and Fun for 2021 Wellness initiative

  • Assists in preparing materials and presentations for leadership

  • Acts as a positive and an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentand company culture

  • Shows the ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company

  • Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization and within a Shared Service model

  • Must have a passion for being part of driving an innovative HR strategy

  • Must have excellent time management, tactical and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant fieldis required

  • Minimum of 3 years of related HR experience is required

  • Prior experience within a Union environment is preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws and practices; FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and OSHA experience is required

  • Experience with HRIS systems is required, preferably ADP

  • Must have the curiosity in being able to drive and be part of the development of HR initiatives

  • To successfully perform this job, the employeeshould possess strong technicaland organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm and confidentiality, have the ability to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, act as a strategic partner, be detail oriented andprofessional
