About the Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions (HMS) North America Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Product Manager - Lymphology. This role can be based in Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC. The Product Manager - Lymphology reports into The Assortment Manager.

The Product Manager - Lymphology will lead the North American TENA product management team, creating a high-performing product management organization. Develop and manage an insights-driven Lymphology product portfolio and pipeline for the Health Care segment. Develop customized solutions based on the needs of the sales channel.

This individual is responsible for identifying product gaps and opportunities, then influencing key stakeholders (GMI, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology and Business Development) to size and prioritize these product requirements for development. During development, represent the voice of the customer/voice of the market into product development teams. Work closely with Channel Marketing and Sales to successfully launch products. After launch, ensure that specifications are kept up to date.

Regularly assess assortment for sales/profitability and proactively recommend and manage discontinuations as may be required to maintain the minimum number of SKUs needed to adequately service our customers.

What You Will Do


  • Maintain current assortment

  • Work with stakeholders to maintain assortment strategy linked to growth objectives in key channels/customer segments (including product introductions/discontinuations)

  • Manage claims, positioning/messaging, packaging/warehouse information, pricing and sell- sheets specific to products

  • Monitor competitive activity and innovations to recommend marketing and product actions

  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to provide demand input

  • Lead quarterly business review meetings linked to assortment with a focus on reviewing profitability, sales, cost saves, and competitive activity

  • Develop future assortment and strategic objectives for product development within North America

  • Lead product development efforts for Renovation Projects (modifications/enhancements of current products) and partner with GMI for Innovation Projects to deliver on marketing activities linked to product (e.g., clinical research, claims, reimbursement, positioning/messaging, packaging, pricing, and sell sheets)

  • Manage successful partnership with Sales and Channel Marketing across all channels for successful launches

  • Work with stakeholders to identify compelling insights

  • Represent the voice of the customer/voice of the market into product development teams

  • Work with stakeholders to link insights to the 8Q Plan and assure consistent, clear and evidence-based voice into GMI with respect to product needs for North America

  • Work with Operations, Technology, and Sourcing to develop platforms able to deliver on customized product solutions for North America

  • Develop business cases to influence technology investments, sourcing activities, and innovation pipeline related to assortment

  • Establish strong relationships and work collaboratively with GMI, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, Business development, Technology, and Operations stakeholders

  • Work with Research and Development and GMI on spec management within operations, complaint handling, and other miscellaneous technical responsibilities

Who You Are


  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus

  • Technical Marketing skills

  • Prior experience (3-5 years) working within a marketing (B2B) or product development role

  • Sound knowledge of the sales process

  • Ability to quickly garner respect among peers (sales, marketing, finance, distribution, sourcing, and

  • operations) and lead in an environment of change at a fast pace

  • Experience moving a project from idea to launch is ideal

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

  • Brand and/or Product management, Product development, Project Management, Operations

  • Decision quality, Organizing, Innovation management, Planning
