Job Description:

Exciting opportunity with a collaborative team! OPEN TO RECENT COLLEGE GRADS with some remote work available.


Major Responsibilities



  • Maintains and reports Database /Inventory system information via uploads and report writing.

  • Captures and analyzes data and translates to target appropriate cause and effect relationships upon request. Manages key performance metrics surrounding inventory turn, service levels, etc.

  • Prepares monthly reporting and facilitates investment/rebate buy opportunities via analysis of deals and rebate programs. Loads forward buy quantities into system as required.

  • Prepares data to support performance analysis for decisions around facility openings, closings, item adds, item drops, customer shifts, etc.

  • Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Core Values.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge Required



  • Intermediate/Advanced skill in Power BI/Hyperion/MS Excel Power queries.

  • Intermediate/Advanced skill with MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Proven track record in managing multiple tasks and projects to a timely and successful completion.

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Business, Supply Chain preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in an environment of advanced purchasing processes.
