The Office of Regulatory Examination Management, a unit within the Regulatory Law Department, is responsible for managing regulatory examinations, the program to comply with applicable pay-to-play, lobbying and other numerous regulatory activities.

This position is responsible for completing various regulatory filings primarily associated with lobbying and political donation activities, assisting with the maintenance of the personal political contribution preclearance program, and providing consulting advice based on applicable laws, rules and regulations.

The individual will also support regulatory examinations and technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Collect and analyze information related to lobbying activities and political contributions and develop and submit regulatory filings required under lobbying, pay-to-play, and other similar statutes

  • Maintain records of, and provide customer service to, users of Prudential’s personal political contribution preclearance system, including annual attestations, population updates, and system questions

  • Assist with regulatory exams and inquiries

  • Technology initiatives within the unit

    Qualifications:




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in project management

  • Experience within a risk, audit, compliance, operations and/or regulatory function preferred

  • Knowledge of lobbying & pay-to-play laws is a plus

  • Experience with Regulatory processes, particularly within the financial services industry desired

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other technology platforms

Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $82,300-111,300+ discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
