Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Establish VoIP environment by designing system architecture and configurations.

  • Design, configure, and install Cisco Call Manager based VoIP solution. 

  • Develop system testing documentation.

  • Define and document system as deployed configuration.

  • Create detailed Visio diagrams.

  • Analyze network performance, connectivity faults, review diagnostic tests and troubleshoot to identify network performance problems and find resolutions to issues.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Ability to travel internationally.

  • 8 or more years of IT operations experience focused on supporting enterprise scale wide area networks.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a network administrator/engineer.

  • Experience with Cisco VoIP solutions.

  • Ability to develop procedural documentation for implementation, verification, and troubleshooting efforts.

  • Proficiency with Cisco products and tools, Network Monitoring Tools, the suite of TCP and UDP protocols (SNMP, NTP, DHCP, TFTP, FTP, SSH, Telnet, SNMP, IMAP & POP, HTTPS, etc), DNS, TACACS+ & RADIUS, Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Demonstrated experience integrating enterprise class IT solutions into large scale organizations.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a team, but also work independently and apply sound judgment during independent work.

  • Capable of reviewing existing processes and recommending process improvements through well-articulated, actionable plans.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications such as Visio, Word, Excel.

Desired Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.



  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Voice or equivalent training and certification.



  • Prior team lead experience in a Network Operation Center supporting a Federal Agency.


  • Experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) deployment. 

  • One or more of the following certifications are highly desired: CompTIA Security+  or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
