Carrus is looking for a Content & Communications Manager for the CareerCert division. CareerCert provides continuing education and a platform to manage continuing education for emergency and healthcare providers and agencies. Our training exists to improve outcomes for the emergency healthcare providers that we serve.

The Content & Communications Manager for CareerCert will oversee all content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads, and positive customer behavior. They will be responsible for producing and managing materials such as web pages, blog posts, emails, webinars, social media posts, infographics, one-sheets, case studies, etc. that highlight the benefits of the CareerCert platform for individuals and groups.

A day in the life of the Content & Communications Manager:

50% Content Creation


  • Define and own the brand voice and content strategy


  • Write, manage, and edit content for marketing material and websites


  • Support sales and customer experience teams by creating content to meet the needs of prospects and customers


  • Build user journey across the customer lifecycle

40% Managing and Coordinating Resources


  • Define the content calendar and strategy


  • Find and coordinate SMEs to participate in webinars


  • Manage external SEO and SME copywriters


  • Edit copy created by external contractors to ensure brand consistency


  • Coordinate with the internal product team to coordinate announcements of new courses and features


  • Manage the PR agency to build a regular cadence of press releases for CareerCert

10% Social Media Management


  • Define the social media posting schedule


  • Create content that drives meaningful social media interaction


  • Answer or direct people to answers from social media comments or messages

What you need to be successful as a Content & Communications Manager:

Education:

BA in English or Communications


Experience:

5+ years of writing and editing content.

Writing experience for marketing is a plus but is not required

    • You dont need to be an expert, but you need to know enough to best utilize social media as a tool in the overall content strategy.

    • You know enough about the different forms of media to understand how they can be utilized as a part of the overall content strategy.
