Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Supervisor position has responsibility and leadership over manufacturing of the ContourSP product line. This includes sub-assembly, final system assembly/integration, final test, and preparation for shipment. The supervisor leads a team that includes assembly, test, and material expediter resources to oversee day-to-day activities to ensure the team meets quarterly production requirements. The supervisor focuses the team on aligning activities and resources towards creating and achieving shipment and revenue goals through partnering with functions that do not report to this position. The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring product meets applicable specifications and quality standards, and that a safe work environment exists for all Manufacturing employees.

Essential Functions:

Works closely with Manufacturing Management to maintain the ContourSP build plan and detailed build schedule to ensure alignment with quarterly shipment and revenue goals
• Works closely with Master Scheduler to optimize manufacturing efficiency to achieve shipment and revenue targets


• Utilizes Production Expediter to maintain a steady flow of kitted materials to the production floor per ContourSP build schedule


• Prioritizes and oversees daily workflow within the ContourSP manufacturing team to achieve on-time shipment of ContourSP orders


• Instills and maintains a sense of urgency and customer focus within manufacturing


• Drives continuous improvement of on-time shipments of ContourSP systems


• Promotes a quality-focused culture


• Ensures team responsibilities under the quality system are met


• Efficiently manages variations in manufacturing demands


• Ensures safety policies and procedures are adhered to throughout Manufacturing


• Develops and maintains a team-based approach within Manufacturing

Additional Responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• An understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly and manufacturing methods


• An understanding of Manufacturing planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control is preferred


• ERP experience required; SAP proficiency a plus


• Ability to identify and address critical process issues quickly


• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and effectively manage and motivate a team in a fast paced, high demand working environment

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in technical and or scientific field


• Previous supervisory experience with proven strong leadership skills is preferred

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Must be able to lift ~50 lbs.
