Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Associate Manager, Sales Operations focuses on data stewardship and provides operations and data governance leadership. This role is focused on the business rules that provide guidance and stewardship of the commercial databases, as well as operational policies and procedures to ensure consistent execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Consult with stakeholders on the commercial master data management system by reconciling multiple inputs from data sources of customer information, with laboratory master, to deliver a single source of record.
  • Work in partnership to deploy information from the customer master into both customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence (BI) platforms.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders (i.e., marketing, IT, laboratory, sales management) to establish and maintain data stewardship processes and principles.

  • Create and uphold business rules specific to the health systems teams regarding alignment, targeting, and data stewardship.

  • Lead the way by identifying data quality issues within the customer master and propose lean, efficient solutions to resolve anomalies.

  • Maintain a high level of product, market, payor, and IDN knowledge to support the health systems sales team and sales leadership as they work to meet and exceed target goals in order volume, compliance, and account objectives.

  • Collaborate with the commercial effectiveness to develop and deliver training content to sales, sales leadership, and commercial employees on health systems operations.

  • Oversee healthcare organizations (HCO) and health care professional (HCP) hierarchy related data stewardship and processing.

  • Encourage collaborative culture and drive organization to improve customer/client satisfaction levels and responsiveness.

  • Partner with information technology (IT) and business analytics to maintain level of readiness within field salesforce and anticipate future needs.

  • Supervise staff; including, but not limited to, organize and prioritize work, write/conduct performance reviews, train/develop, and manage work performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Degree/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in a field related to the essential duties of this role.

  • 1+ years of experience leading or directing people and/or project teams.

  • Demonstrated ability in establishing processes and procedure; including, but not limited to, CRM, SFAA development, and data stewardship/integrity.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives with excellent project planning and execution skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Healthcare industry experience in the field of marketing, sales, service, or operations.

  • Familiarity with Veeva and/or Tableau BI.

  • Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.
