As a Senior Engineer for our Packaging Automation group at Haskell, you will be able to fully utilize your intellect and ability to execute precision work that produces sound results.


You will have the opportunity to apply your critical problem-solving strengths and balanced judgment to tackle complex challenges to achieve the desired outcome. You will help execute large scale food and beverage packaging projects from concept through handoff. Additionally, your high-level of competency with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation will ensure you continue to deliver high-quality and effective controls design, programming and start-up solutions.

Role Overview


Haskell is an engineering firm specializing in consumer products. The Packaging Automation group supports the broader business by providing consulting services to market-leading manufacturers of consumer products as well as food and beverage. Projects include designing conveyor control systems, PLC/HMI programming, and the integration of packaging and warehouse systems. The Packaging Automation team utilizes design and programming standards to successfully execute project deliverables. A Senior Engineer in Haskell's Packaging Automation group will be exposed to a myriad of packaging projects. Typical engagements last between 2-12 months with the field support phase lasting 2-6 weeks.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related. Minimum 8 years of experience in: conveyor systems controls design, packaging equipment integration, Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI programming, and capital project execution. This role will also require you to travel about 30% of the time.
