POSITION TITLE

Sales and Market Director - Residential

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will be in the Southeast and will report to RMC headquarters once a month. It is responsible for supporting our Specialty Interiors Business. This position reports to the business unit Vice President and is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals. The role requires close collaboration with our customers, our design team and marketing teams, R&D and our manufacturing partners to create and commercialize new fabrics for the and residential markets. Expected travel is approximately 60%.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead a team of experienced sales professionals.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.

  • Nurture the growth of existing and new customer relationships.

  • Build an inspired, collaborative, engaged team.

  • Work closely with marketing team on advertising, trade shows, and marketing collateral.

  • Collaborate with operations team to maximize capability utilization and manage product complexity.

  • Key member on leadership team to develop and meet strategic business objectives.

  • Propose and develop new strategic partnerships

  • Analyze and define addressable market with complete VOC and competitive analysis data.

  • Develop pricing strategy and set profitability goals for residential market.

  • Drive lead generation and manage CRM with sales team.

  • Consistently meet sales commitments, forecast and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED


  • BA/BS degree. MBA Preferred.

  • 15+ years' experience in the textile industry. 10+ years direct sales management experience.

  • Strong preference for direct residential market sales experience.

  • In depthknowledge of fabric formation, primarily woven.


  • Strong knowledge of customer base and market requirements.

  • Strong presentation skills required.

  • Proven leader and great communicator.

  • Knowledge of contract markets and window markets are desired.
